Every trip is one fixed price per car, not per person, for up to 4 passengers with luggage (a 7-seat van is available for bigger groups), including fuel, driver, tolls and parking. Entrance fees, boat hire and meals are extra. Send us your date, pickup point and group size on WhatsApp and we reply with the price.

Kuta to Bangsal

The drive is about 80 km: north through Praya to the airport bypass, around Mataram, then the coast road past Senggigi, Malimbu and the Gili viewpoints to Pemenang and Bangsal. Two hours on a normal morning, two and a half in Mataram rush hour or heavy rain.

When to leave Kuta

  • Public boat: leave by 9–10 am to be on the water before lunch when boats fill fastest.
  • Fast boat: leave 2 h 30 min before the scheduled departure.
  • Charter: any time before 3 pm; we call the boat ahead.

Worth a stop

The Malimbu and Nipah lookouts over the three Gilis (five minutes), or the Senaru waterfalls (adds about 3 hours) for a “waterfalls then islands” day. Coffee and toilets at the Pemenang minimarts before the harbour.

Bangsal to Kuta

Same trip in reverse. Take a morning boat off the island and you are back in Kuta for a late lunch, or straight to the airport (1 h 45 min from Bangsal) for an afternoon flight. See also our Kuta to the Gili Islands page for boat choices.
