How we started
Kuta Lombok Drivers began with one Avanza and a phone number passed around surf camps in Kuta. Guests needed a reliable ride to the airport at 4 am, a shuttle to Gerupuk before the wind came up, and someone who actually knew which road to Selong Belanak was not a goat track. Word spread the way it does in a small town.
Today we run a handful of clean, air-conditioned cars and vans, all owned and driven by people from Kuta, Rambitan and Sengkol. We still answer the phone ourselves.
What we promise
- One fixed price per car, agreed on WhatsApp before you get in.
- Licensed, insured, sober drivers who know the roads, the police checkpoints and where the potholes are after rain.
- Clean cars: cold aircon, seatbelts that work, boot space for boards and bags.
- Honest advice. If the waterfall road is closed or the swell is too big for your level, we will tell you.
Where we operate
We are based in Kuta (Mandalika) and cover all of South Lombok: Gerupuk, Tanjung Aan, Are Guling, Mawi, Selong Belanak, Ekas and Sekotong, plus Lombok International Airport (LOP), Mataram, Senggigi, Bangsal harbour for the Gili Islands, Senaru for Rinjani and Lembar for the Bali ferry.

Your driver messages you the night before with their name and plate. Pay cash or transfer at the end of the ride.

Are you a registered business?
We are a local driver cooperative operating licensed private-hire vehicles in Central Lombok. Ask us for our details on WhatsApp if you need them for a travel insurance claim or company booking.
Do your drivers speak English?
Yes. All of our drivers speak conversational English, and a couple speak basic French and German from years of driving surf tourists.
Can we request the same driver again?
Absolutely. Most of our guests do. Tell us the driver’s name when you book.
