Lombok’s two most spectacular waterfalls, at the foot of Rinjani in the far north. A long day from Kuta, but the drive up the west coast and the river walk to Tiu Kelep are worth every hour.

Every trip is one fixed price per car, not per person, for up to 4 passengers with luggage (a 7-seat van is available for bigger groups), including fuel, driver, tolls and parking. Entrance fees, boat hire and meals are extra. Send us your date, pickup point and group size on WhatsApp and we reply with the price.
North through Mataram and up the coast road past Senggigi and the Gili viewpoints. About 3.5 hours.
A 15-minute walk down steps to a 30 m single-drop fall. Easy and impressive.
A 45-minute walk further, wading a river, to the big one: a thundering horseshoe of water and mist you can swim right under.
Warung lunch with a view of Rinjani’s summit on a clear day.
Sunset from Malimbu or Nipah hill over the Gilis, back in Kuta around 6.30 pm.
Both waterfalls are fed by Rinjani’s crater lake and flow year-round. Entrance is around IDR 20,000 plus a compulsory local guide (IDR 100,000–150,000 per group) for Tiu Kelep. The river crossing is knee to thigh deep; wear sandals with straps and bring a dry bag.
Senaru is also the start of the Rinjani trek. If you would rather not do 7 hours of driving in one day, we can drop you at a Senaru guesthouse and collect you the next day. See Rinjani transfers.
