Every trip is one fixed price per car, not per person, for up to 4 passengers with luggage (a 7-seat van is available for bigger groups), including fuel, driver, tolls and parking. Suggested itinerary
Depart Kuta (7 am)
East through Jerowaru on a mix of good road and rough track. About 2 hours 15 minutes.
Pink Beach / Tangsi (9.30 am)
Swim, walk the headland for the aerial view, and see the WWII Japanese cannon on the hill.
Snorkel boat (11 am)
Boat to Gili Petelu and the pink-sand coves for snorkelling with turtles and reef fish. IDR 400,000–500,000 per boat.
Lunch (1 pm)
Grilled fish at the beach warung or a picnic on the boat.
Tanjung Ringgit (2.30 pm)
Dramatic white cliffs and blowholes at the tip of the peninsula, ten minutes further on.
Back in Kuta (5.30 pm)
Or stop at Ekas or Awang for a sunset drink on the way home.
About the Pink Beach
Tangsi, better known as the Pink Beach, gets its colour from crushed red coral mixed into white sand. The pink is subtle in harsh midday light and strongest in the morning and late afternoon, so we go early. The beach is remote, the road is partly unsealed and there is no public transport, which is why it stays quiet.
Boat and snorkelling
Local boats run from the beach to Gili Petelu, Gili Pasir and a second pink beach only reachable by sea. Snorkel gear is IDR 50,000. Sea turtles are common on the reef off Petelu.
Good to know
Bring cash, water and reef-safe sunscreen; facilities are basic. The road is rough in the wet season and our drivers use SUVs for this trip.

How far is the Pink Beach from Kuta Lombok?
About 75 km, 2 hours to 2 hours 15 minutes each way. It is a full-day trip.
Is the sand really pink?
Yes, a soft pink most visible in morning light and where the sand is wet. It is not neon; photos are often edited.
Is the boat included?
No. The snorkelling boat is IDR 400,000–500,000 per boat, shared by the group, paid to the boatman.
