South Lombok has more good beaches per kilometre than anywhere in Indonesia, and most of them are empty on a weekday. This loop covers the ones that are worth the drive, in an order that follows the light and avoids the midday heat at the exposed spots. Entrance and parking fees are IDR 10,000–20,000 per beach.
