Suggested itinerary
Tanjung Aan (9 am)
Two crescents of white sand separated by a rocky point. Swim in the flat east bay, walk up Bukit Merese for the view.
Seger & Mandalika circuit
A quick look at the MotoGP track and the Princess Mandalika statue on the way back through town.
Mawun (11.30 am)
A perfect horseshoe with calm water at one end and small waves at the other. The best swimming beach in the south.
Selong Belanak (1 pm)
Lunch at a beach warung, a longboard session or a nap under the trees. Buffalo appear late afternoon.
Are Guling or Mawi (3.30 pm)
A quieter bay to finish, or straight to Bukit Merese for sunset if you would rather end where you began.
About the beaches tour
South Lombok has more good beaches per kilometre than anywhere in Indonesia, and most of them are empty on a weekday. This loop covers the ones that are worth the drive, in an order that follows the light and avoids the midday heat at the exposed spots. Entrance and parking fees are IDR 10,000–20,000 per beach.
What to bring
Reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, cash for warungs, and a towel. Snorkel gear if you have it: Mawun and Tanjung Aan have clear water on calm days.

Which beaches are included?
Tanjung Aan, Bukit Merese, Mawun and Selong Belanak, plus Are Guling or Mawi depending on time. All within 45 minutes of Kuta.
Is it suitable for children?
Very. Mawun and the east bay at Tanjung Aan are calm and shallow. We carry child seats on request.
Are entrance fees included?
No. Expect IDR 10,000–20,000 per beach for parking and access, paid in cash.
