Kuta Lombok to Bali: your options
1. Public ferry from Lembar
Lembar is 1 hour 15 minutes from Kuta. Ferries to Padang Bai run around the clock, take 4 to 6 hours and cost about IDR 50,000 per person (more with a vehicle). Cheap, slow, scenic. We drop you at the terminal.
2. Fast boat from Bangsal / Teluk Nare
2 hours from Kuta. Fast boats to Padang Bai (1.5–2 h) and Sanur (2.5–3 h) leave in the morning and early afternoon, IDR 300,000–500,000 per person. Most stop at the Gilis on the way. We time the pickup to the sailing and help with tickets.
3. Fly
Lombok to Denpasar is 30 minutes in the air. See our airport transfer.
Our advice
Fast boat if you are going to east or south Bali and travel light; fly if you have lots of luggage or get seasick; ferry if you have time and a sense of adventure.
